Witnessed this when I was out eating in mamak just now.......
I know the video is kinda blur, so let me explain a bit.
While I was enjoying my beehoon-goreng-kurang-pedas over a football match (Sunderland vs Liv), me and my fellow patrons were distracted by wails of siren from bike-riding policemen.
What followed was a parade that consisted of:
1. a team of rumbling heavy bikers with the national flag(s) attached to the choppers
2. vans with national flags sticking out like porcupines
3. trucks with national flags sticking out like porcupines
4. cars with national flags sticking out like porcupines (slightly exaggerated but.....you'd get the point)
One of the cars that passed by looked familiar but i couldnt recalled where i've seen it at the spot due to the influences of hungry stomach+football+puffs of cigarette smoke from neighbouring tables.
Then, after leaving the pseudo-heaven created by the increasingly thicker puffs of smoke from Gandalf-wannabe's, i realised that i've seen it here.

..........
I dunno.
Seems like we have a new way of pre-celebrating Merdeka in town - vehicles parading at night.
But why can't we just do it in a more environmental friendly way (walking parade ala Mardi Gras lah!!!) and leave the police personnel to do their much-needed patrolling?

Tiu.
Disclaimer:
The porcupined car could be different from what the writer saw due to the *cough cough* fogging *cough* effect of *cough cough* cigarettes *cough*
